unless you lived under a rock, you were out and about yesterday enjoying a celestial experience otherwise known as the total solar eclipse. while athens didn’t have 100% coverage, we did boast 99.16% as the path skirted my home town. i am one lucky girl!
in case you’re wondering when the last solar eclipse occurred, we’ll have to go back to 1979 – my university days. and the next one won’t arrive until april 2024. but that eclipse won’t be nearly as visible to so many peeps as the trajectory path will be limited in scope.
