Here's the thing about a "stay-cation" versus an actual getaway - everyday life has a sneaky way of intruding on all the plans you made to focus on relaxing and just having fun. Please don't get me wrong. Robin and I really enjoyed our week off together; we slept in, visited with friends, and did lots and lots of cruising around in our convertible...often without any actual destination in mind when we first hopped in the car. But our intention to spend all day, every day exploring a different part of our beautiful city got somewhat side-tracked by chores and appointments. Stuff that's a non-issue when you're (far) away from home, in other words. ...
