Weekend Away: Lithgow and Blue Mountains (Part 2)
Here is part 2 of my trip to Lithgow and the Blue Mountains. It was a few weeks ago now. See part 1 here .
We stayed at the Zig Zag hotel in Lithgow which I’d say is the best place to stay in the town. The staff were very friendly and attentive at at both reception and in the restaurant. The receptionist took an interest in my husband’s photography and was very helpful by suggesting what to do in the area. The restaurant was great with a small town and cosy feel. The food was excellent with very fast service. The room was comfortable, somewhat basic, but completely appropriate for a quick one night stay. I loved being in such a different environment...
