Dance It Out
I’ve loved dance as long as I can remember.
When I was 4, I have a clear memory of riding home from gymnastics class and asking my mom if she had signed me up for the next session. Her answer? “I think we’re going to give dance a try.”
Little did I know how much it would become a part of my life.
That four year old went on to dance until she was 22 years old. I traveled around the country thanks to the sport, including stops in Orlando where my team achieved our high school’s first national championship (and air time on ESPN!), and being part of the USO tour when I danced as an NFL cheerleader with the Minnesota Vikings.
