One of the first things we saw when we arrived in Provence was the abundance of blooming poppy fields all around. On our drive from the airport to our hotel, we kept seeing flashes of red in the distance and quickly figured out what they were. We kept saving the locations of different fields, but eventually stopped when we realized that they were pretty much everywhere.
