I was very slender until my twenties and "growth spurt" defined my teens, so, no, I never did grow into most of the pieces she gifted. Maybe it's because of this, but I've always been strict about buying clothes in my current size. Not too small, hoping I'll slim down; not too big, expecting to fill it...
