Corgis Are People Too
I, like a billion other folks, plopped myself in front of the tube this past Friday to bear witness to the 2012 Olympic ceremonies directed by the brilliantly creative Danny Boyle. I knew beforehand that I had to clear my mind of all images from China's Olympic opening extravagance as there was no way in hell this ceremony could be that cool, but even with my expectations lowered I was still left in a state of "uh?". If I understood everything correctly then England was actually birthed from the depths of Mordor, the surplus of sick children means that they have to sleep two to a bed, Mary Poppins has become the latest successful cloning subject, and the newest iPhone...
