Top of the Rock
Yesterday for Mother's Day my parents, sister, husband and I drove south to Top of the Rock, a beautiful resort area nestled in the Ozark hills. I had never been there before despite being born and raised in the area, and I had been missing out! The place is gorgeous! It is a huge area of forest and it's got hotels, restaurants, museums, shops, lodges, event venues, golf courses, natural areas... all SORTS of beautiful areas. We got lunch at one of the restaurants, then we walked the grounds. We took a shuttle to another part and looked around at some country cottages of the wealthy back in the 1920s that are on the property. ...
