Parisian Stripes?
I rarely, if ever, wear stripes. It’s just not my thing. I like ’em on other people, I love them in fashion magazines, but when I put them on, I rarely feel like myself. But sometimes, a cute navy striped dress goes on ridiculous clearance, I mean ridiculous , and I figure, why the heck not.
And I like it. It obviously helps that it’s in a silhouette that I adore – the bodycon. There’s no danger of me going all nautical, or all Parisian-chic. Because let’s face it, chic, ain’t something that applies to my style all that often. Bohemian vintage lover who just lost a fight with a weed-whacker? Yes. But chic? Not often....
