My girlfriend Susan told me that there’s just something about my energy that changes when I’m in more of a hustle-bustle-like setting. And it’s so true–I can sense it too. I’ve really grow to appreciate my slower paced lifestyle in Sacramento, especially now with Rex, but there’s something in me that truly feels alive or most myself if that makes sense when I’m in a busier city. Even just getting out of my East Sac / Midtown bubble for the afternoon and popping into Downtown (which you guys is seriously just blocks away) was all I needed.
