G oing through the archives of my grandparents' bookshelves and albums feels much like sitting by the window in a café watching life go by outside. However this time, your looking out a window showing you life as it evolved before you, life that was relevant to you even existing and coming to be. Australia, offering a completely different side of my family history compared to my Danish heritage, always has me lured into a bit of a dream state. Growing up so far away, this history has always felt like just a spice in my life, and once I'm here, it consumes me and I become not just a character in that history but a product of it. Sweet? Sweet...
