Fort Bazaar | Galle, Sri Lanka
My dear ones, today I want to show you pictures that we shot in our enchanting hotel in Galle, Sri Lanka! After we had been traveling through Sri Lanka for more than a week already, in which we had seen lots of different landscapes, I was especially excited to visit Galle! Galle is a very special city, partly because it has gone through many hands that have formed it in different ways! Even before colonial reign, Galle had been an important trade harbor – then the Portuguese came, then the Dutch, then the British. You can see that Galle has a history marked by conflicts when looking at the thickness of its city wall – the reason why it is also called Fort Galle!...
