Happy Monday! I just got back from the loveliest weekend visit to Victoria , where Matt and I started dating all these years ago while at UVic. It was really the exact break I needed – I didn’t have the start to the year that I anticipated, what with getting taken out with this brutal flu virus (wash your hands and take care of yourself, guys!), but now that I’ve unintentionally spent the first two weeks of 2017 on the mend and effectively off, it almost feels like I get to kick off my year now!
