Black Military Coat
During a NY winter, it's not uncommon for people to only see your outerwear & not what's underneath (because it rarely gets warm enough to take it off). So, it's important to have one luxe statement coat that can instantly create a chic pulled-together look, even if it's paired simply with a turtleneck & jeans. This military coat looks so much more expensive than its price tag suggests and I love that the faux fur collar is removable. It has a really nice weight to it and, unlike other wool-blend coats I own, it has a soft finish that isn't scratchy.
