What I Wore: Bring Your Own Sunshine
When it is a blah, overcast day, wearing sunshiney yellow is always a great way to counteract the effects of the grey skies. This skirt is another recently thrifted addition to my closet – it was only $2.99! The hints of yellow in its zigzag, polka dotted pattern made it easy to pile on the yellow.
So far, my favorite maternity wardrobe “trick” is wearing regular skirts (usually a size or two larger than my usual) pulled over my baby bump and belted at my ribs. I’ve found this to be a more flattering way to accentuate my new shape. There will be no hiding under tent-like garments for me!
