make room for singing,
I've been too busy thinking of my banjo to notice the change of weather. I think everyone ought to play music. Whether it's stringing songs together by tambourine shakes, or by C notes. Whether you're a folk singer, a hymn chanter, or a king--- music stays with you, bringing pleasantries to your heart. The best teacher has been the feathered songstress. She's taught many country men, and small town crooners how to sing. And if there ever was a time-- when our voices soaked into our bellies-- or we had forgotten how to speak-- The singing birds would be there.My Friday will be spent eating Vietnamese, and playing my banjo.
