I recently posted on Instagram an outfit full of wardrobe basics and said that my self from 5 years ago would be laughing. Back then I considered basics a waste of money--especially plain basics. Over the last 5 years I have not only realized how vital it is to have good basics in my closet, but I also realized that not all basics are alike .
