Lots of black and white with a tweed dress and wool coat.
Think you can’t mix prints and textures? Keep the color palette simple– like black and white, for example– and the game gets easier. I grabbed a striped wool coat out of the closet and threw it over the top of a tweed dress. Now this dress is normally a summer pick for me– it’s sleeveless, which makes it great for the office in July. But throw a wool statement coat over the top? Now you’re talkin’ November. Black suede booties, silver jewelry, and mirrored silver sunnies make this a great outfit for holiday parties and fall + winter date nights.
