A Snapshot of Culture: Dia de los Muertos
Have you met my best friend Violeta Granados? She owns the Instagram @justanotherinstagal and is not only a boss lady, but she is also hilarious. Violeta is Mexican and wanted to share in her native culture's holiday of Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead). I happily joined in as she told me how they celebrate, remember, and prepare special gifts for their loved ones that have passed. There is the tradition of setting up altars with photos of loved ones to put gifts on for. Some people even dress up as the dead to attend parties!
