I grew up with a mother who was much more interested in interior design & home decor than she was in keeping up with the latest clothing trends. But, she recognized my love for fashion early on & encouraged it by letting me play dress up in vintage clothing and continually experiment with my own personal style. Regardless of the different phases I went through (some of which make me cringe now!), the one lesson she taught me was to always dress like a lady.
