We Are Pirates Review + Outfit | The BBRBF Book Club
Today I’m reviewing We Are Pirates by Daniel Handler. This review is short and not so sweet. I loathed this book . The way that Phil Needle talked in 3rd person with first AND last name , the way Gwen was a whiny, rebellious kid, half of it was I like.. is this really happening or is everyone just on drugs ? I got to the 6th chapter, skipped the rest, read the ending -which blew my mind in a not good way- and…here I am. This book was terrible. If you’d like to read more in depth about how bad this book was- be my guest to this Goodreads review . She nailed the whole thing. All I can say is what I’ve already said.
