What I Wore to the Baby Shower!
K is for Kinsley...the name of my granddaughter who is expected to enter this world mid-September! So we celebrated this weekend with friends to shower the new mom and dad (my son) with gifts.
I loved this fake cake made of baby diapers created by the hostess, my daughter-in-law's close friend.
Showers are such a special time when all ages get together to honor either a new couple, or future parents. I have always loved what a shower represents...kind of a traditional blessing by those closest to them. I think it is appropriate Monday is National Girlfriends Day!
