DIY: simple cotton sundress
so i'm not really sure what to call this post, as it technically is a DIY project, but i used a pattern to put it together (as opposed to my last sewing project). let's just call it a DIY until i can figure out some catchy name using alliteration, okay? anyway, i've never been good at using patterns - i can look at something and figure out how to break it down and then put it back together, but i'm terrible at piecing together seemingly mismatched parts, directed by terribly confusing directions. one of my goals for this summer was to teach myself how to sew from patterns and i figured that i'd start off easy - this pattern was marked as simple (the pattern designer and...
