Last year I went on my first 'big' overseas trip. Although Australia isn't too far away, for someone who's only been overseas once when they were 2, it was an exiting trip. I spent 7 days in the Gold Coast with my good friends Erin and Eliza and we had an absolute blast. We saved up over the year and paid for the trip ourselves, but being students, we were on a bit of a budget. In the end the whole trip ended up costing me under $1500NZD (including flights, food, accommodation and all my spending money).
