Queens Plate 2016 - Rethink the races !
Hello, i hope you all had a lovely weekend! Yesterday i attended the 157th Annual Queens Plate, which is canadas oldest thoroughbred horse race. Canada recently turned 149 years old (this past friday, happy birthday canada woo! ) meaning that this event has been going on for longer than canada has even been its own independent country. (crazy huh!?) I love anything that has to do with tradition and history, i constantly wish i was born in a different time era, even 100 years earlier. And i know a lot of people say that but i've gotten to the point of crying about it because i feel so out of place....
