jen is getting married in september (you've seen her on here a few times) and we hosted her bridal shower at my house yesterday. this was the first time i've ever really held or organized a significant event at my house and it took a ton of planning. thankfully, a big group of us worked together to pull everything off; i handled the decor, another one of us planned games, and we all pitched in to make a ridiculous amount of food. betsy and i spent an afternoon making the tissue paper pom poms (the lanterns were from martha stewart) and taping them from the ceiling. due to the weight of the metal in the lanterns and the heat peeling the tape off of the wall, bryan ended...
