For the second part of our trip to México…we were joined by my parents and we headed to Mahekal Beach Resort!! It was also my dad’s birthday…so this trip as extra-special! First impression: the resort was SO, SO, SO beautiful! It has a bohemian, carefree vibe that mixes Mexican traditions with modern and luxe details. All the rooms are palapa-style…and ours was just a few steps from the ocean (dreamy!)! Each room has an individual terrace with personal hammocks <3 I also love that they don’t have TVs on the rooms, so you can really “unplug” and enjoy a good book by the ocean.
