today i’m headed back to my old stomping grounds, chicago. notice the lightweight cashmere sweater? and the denim jacket? think i’ll be warm enough to brave temps that will only reach a high of 54 degrees? it might not be a bad idea to pack a pair of gloves and a hat if i want to travel by foot. and that’s one of the best features of chicago. walking the city blocks, window shopping, and gazing along the shoreline of lake michigan. years ago, i claimed chicago as my home. it was the first town i lived in after university, and i loved it. all except the winters…and that biting wind that swooped in from the lake. but...
