My July 4th

I hope all of you fellow Americans had a wonderful July 4th holiday! Mine was pretty low key. We opted to stay in to avoid crowds, traffic, and stressful parking situations. Once the fireworks started, we watched them through our window, and then we realized, hey, we could go to the roof! So we did, and it was incredible. Our building is the tallest in our neighborhood, so we could see literally 7 fireworks shows at once all over the Los Angeles area, plus all the fireworks in between buildings that were being lit off in the streets.
