Under the Palms
Royal Palm, Mauritius
Sitting with a blanket around me as I write this in grey London feels rather surreal. It was just earlier this week that I was led in Mauritius on it’s pale sands, carefully soaking up the strong rays to build a bit of a glow. But as I write this, I hope I’m able to transport you back there with me for a minute – I know how much I’d like to have sand under my toes again right now.
After a 12-hour flight full of shifting positions between bouts of sleep, I think we were all raring to get to our first destination on the island – the Royal Palm . We drove for over an hour...
