Polished Pattern
For some unknown reason, I tend to shy away from wearing prints (save for stripes, which are a full-on obsession of mine). One of my style goals for myself last year was to embrace more colors and prints...and I'm ashamed to admit that I failed miserably. So when I do come across a patterned piece that I'm drawn to, I feel a strong urge to purchase it, if only to help balance out all the solid items in my wardrobe. This silky loose blazer is one of those styles that just feels cool thanks to the effortless draped fabric and the tie-details on the cuffs. Most importantly, it's a print that didn't seem intimidating to me because I knew it would pair easily...
