A plain black tee under a blazer isn’t very exciting…but if you throw a wrap belt over it, all of a sudden the look becomes elevated. I like this belt paired with this blazer for a few reasons:
the longer menswear-inspired length is well proportioned to be belted at the waist. Shrunken blazers just don’t work as well styled similarly.
the menswear-inspired pinstripe is feminized very nicely by being cinched at the waist, creating an hourglass or “x” shape . I love that feminine/masculine juxtaposition!
