How Little Details in Each Piece Give Life to an Outfit
What I like about this outfit is that each piece is "normal" but has a characteristic that elevates it a notch from normal. Like, the jeans have a tiny bit of distressing. The top, while a seemingly plain black top, is a dolman sleeve with the gathered waist which helps give it some shape and drape. (Find a super duper similar version HERE in 38 colors. How is that even possible?!) And the sweater cardigan has pattern and texture. To me, all of those elements help give the outfit more life than if it were just a plain old solid t-shirt, plain cardigan, and plain jeans.
