Rites of Spring
I don’t mean to rub it in to those of you still staring at piles of snow, but it’s springtime in Sacramento. The daffodils are blooming and we left our windows open all day on Sunday. I’m afraid there are few days left to wear an enormous, woolen, blanket skirt. Sweater, Moda International. Shirt, American Apparel. Skirt, Chaus Jeanswear (consignment). Boots, Joe’s. Sunglasses, Target. Scarf, swap.. Zoro was out enjoying the spring air this afternoon. I’m glad to see it. He’s approaching 11 years old and may not have many springs left.
