That Summery Feeling
The temperatures in my part of Colorado have been soaring lately, and that means it's finally starting to feel more like summer and less like fall/spring. When I got here in late May I was wearing lots of layering and my (Arizona) winter coat. Nowadays our highs are rivaling those back home, and convincing me to finally put away (most) of my layered clothing. Really, though, I'll take it! July is almost upon us and I'm already dreaming of fall (just a few more months!). Back in December my parents took a trip to Southern Mexico (Veracruz area) and brought me back this lovely, handmade blouse (along with two pounds of fresh coffee, seriously!).
