We are often tempted to buy an extravagant and colorful item just because it is trendy . I often fall into this trap and then notice how I tire of flamboyant pieces rather quickly. So the wiser thing to do is to invest in more “serious” pieces. This usually also means staying simple. No ground-breaking advice here - black, white, gray, or any neutral tone will never go out of fashion. Why not go for shade options? Jeans always look good with a top.
