down by the river
On Saturday, Tyson and I got to spend the afternoon together down on the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers, white water kayaking. These are a few pictures of us not doing that. But rather, feeling like kings of the river post adventure. Or at least I was. This was not Tyson's first rodeo with the rapids, but it was certainly mine and frankly I'm just proud of the fact that I didn't tip over and that I was able to wiggle off every rock that my kayak seemed to be chronically magnetized to. Next time, the aim is to work a little harder on the "grunt, not squeal" mentality. And I really do mean next time. I totally loved it. Thanks for planning the most perfect afternoon for us,...
