One of the good things about the colder weather is that it forces me to get more creative with how I layer. I was looking for another way to wear this long turtleneck tunic that I bought earlier this fall (last seen here ), so I decided to play around with proportions by styling it over a knit flared skirt. I think it creates a nice balance by wearing a modern piece with something more feminine. To finish the look, I pinned on these pretty vintage-inspired brooches for a little dash of sparkle (a great way to add some glamour to your cozy knits, faux fur scarves or beanies).
