It was obviously too hot to wear this outfit in the daytime (hello, 110 degree average!) so I reserved it for a dinner outing at nighttime instead. It's been a while since I've revisited babydoll themes, especially ones entailing hair bows and mary janes! Summer lends itself to barbecues, camping excursions, music festivals and block parties -- all events that are best enjoyed in a pair of cut-offs and platform sandals. And as a consequence, I've shied away from peter pan collars and conservative blazers.
