The Weather Outside
Even though I know that temperatures (and snow!) start falling in November each year, I seem to always be caught off guard. I may grab a winter coat as I head out the door, but my optimistic self was sure that bare legs would keep me warm. Boy was I wrong. We had snow for the first time this weekend, and while I loved watching my Scottie Miss Pearl romp, I had to pour one out for my high heels. It becomes exponentially harder to wear heels as it gets colder. They don't get good traction in slippery conditions, they aren't as warm as boots and it seems like whenever I wear them with tights my feet slip out of my shoes when I walk- no bueno. Maybe...
