Shopping online for us Filipinas is not as easy as it looks- especially when we buy from overseas. The package usually takes sooo long to get here, and when it does, it gets held in customs for weeks. When it is finally available for release, they often ask you to pay ridiculously large amounts as customs fees and taxes. I have been through this countless times, so I know how painful looking at that bill can be! I’ve paid over P15,000 (over paid and over billed!) on top of my shipping fee, just because a customs officer said I had to- no choice, or you don’t get your item.
A lof of you ask me how I constantly still buy for abroad in spite of this, and...
