I MISS MALAYSIA
Another look back at my gypsy wandering past. MALAYSIA. Man, I freaking love this place. All of my mom's side of the family resides here, and I miss being around them so much. I miss all that Malaysian and Chinese culture that is so strong and runs so deep. I love how relaxed the country is, but at the same time how intense it is. I love how modern and ahead of the times it is, yet also how deeply rooted it is in its past. I've never felt more comfortable and more at home than in this Southeastern country so far far away. Probably too exotic for most, but that feels just right for me. Not sure when I'll go back, but all I know is that I've been thinking about it a lot...
