After very trying weeks for both Kevin and I, we decided that we needed a little R&R to maintain our sanity. Said R&R came in the form of taking half days at work on Friday, ditching our dentists appointments, and heading out to the beach. Usually this kind of excursion would call for a little bikini number, but the temps in the North have yet to reach their summer max leaving the water bitterly cold for this Texas native. This dilemma created a perfect opportunity for me to don my tribal maxi dress from SugarLips. Now I love a good maxi dress, but as a petite lady they tend to always be way too long for me.
