So today I ran home for lunch, as I often do (perks of living 5 minutes from the office), and as I skipped up the front steps something seemed off and caused me to turn and look. To my absolute horror, I saw a huge black snake partially coiled on one of the small basement windows and hanging down the side of my home. It was no less than 4 feet long and scared the absolute bejeezus out of me, especially when it decided to turn its gaze on me. Needless to say, I was inside in a hot second.
