End of August
I love that August has 31 days. I feel like that extra day makes a big difference somehow, as hard as it is to ignore that summer is reaching it's end, I'm not quite done with it yet. Over the weekend I had a blogger lunch date with a couple of my favorite ladies and also made it to Lake Compounce , on their very last day of summer operation. Nothing like waiting until the last minute, right? Now that I've gotten my fill of roller coasters and flying swings I'm planning for the beach and intend on taking advantage of the summer temps which the weathermen have scheduled for the week ahead.
