I will always be quickly drawn to any collaboration if it is either for a worthy cause, if it is eco-friendly, and/or if it comes with a distinct story to tell. So count me in as inspired when all these reasons aligned with my new style partnership from IKWETTA (the Swahili word for “equator) – a unique “brand of handmade footwear and fashion accessories that endeavors to empower talented artisans in the slums of Africa.”
The pictures actually don’t give justice to the intricate and elaborate detailing of my pretty Ruby Red Clutch and Turkana Tie-Back Sandals which were made from traditional Maasai beadwork skills...
