Sentimental Summer
Been living on the go lately, so much so, that I've not realized how much time's gone by. Actually, that's not the entire truth. I'm always mindful of the time. Sometimes, though, all I can think of is living in the exact moment I'm confronted with and remembering to journal my feelings - or disappointments -at a later time. Sometimes, all a girl needs is to forget the rest, get settled on a rooftop, bake under the sun, Tanqueray in one hand, today's news in the other. Something about looking inward to move forward, taking time to appreciate what is really happening around you, and for once, just once, stop imagining what could be or once was. Be here now. Way easier...
