The Wauwinet sits on a peninsula flanked by both Nantucket Harbor and the Atlantic Ocean, offering plenty of private beach space on both sides. Between walking on the beach and admiring the cozy, shingled cottages, it's easy to see why we loved this place so much. When we first arrived, we were greeted with champagne (and sparkling water for me) and a little Nantucket-themed whale and baby book for our yet-to-arrive bundle of joy - such thoughtful gifts that we look forward to sharing with him soon!
