Goodwill Peplum Restyle
D here, On Tuesday--Sweet and Sour--the uber-cute peplum dress I am wearing is my first EVER restyle. As much as I would like to take credit for the finished product, I cannot tell a lie. My amazing, adorable mother-in-law is a seamstress extraordinaire. I can't even sew a button--sad, I know. When I showed my M-I-L the thrifted peplum dress, she could not wait to get her hands on it. We decided we hated the sleeves, so they had to go. She replaced them with a fab printed ruffle taken from the bottom of an old skirt. We then decided the bottom skirt portion of the dress should be more fitted. My solution: I simply threw a black skirt over the dress. After...
