Is it real?
A few weeks ago I stopped by a tag sale. There was a table full of old costume jewelry, lace handkerchiefs, and bags. The proprietor informed that everything there was a dollar. Cue the kid in the candy store. I left with two necklaces, a bracelet and this Dooney and Burke tote bag. (Such self control!) I don't know much about Dooney and Burke. I don't know how to spot a fake or even what the classic designs are. Is it real? I don't know, but it was only a dollar. If it's fake, I'd prefer not to know anyway.
